Gilbert enjoys being the 2nd safest big city in America. Who do we thank for that? Our Argi Families
Looking at Gilbert now, it may be hard to believe that only 30 years ago most of the land in Gilbert was owned by a few families that farmed land that had been in their families for decades. These families have built strong roots in the community that have grounded Gilbert’s rapid growth in the measured wisdom of values and heritage. Like the crops they have sewn, they have taken the time to nurture the process of allowing their land to be developed. Our town will continue to become more sophisticated, but we should all pay tribute to the founding families that have instilled Gilbert’s legacy of family, faith, and community.
The people of Gilbert are what define it. While a small fraction of residents can claim to have been born here or lived here 20 years ago, the remaining chose to leave their former location to be a part of Gilbert. It is you as residents who make Gilbert one of the Best Places in America to Live.
